Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Shot Glass
  • Spouted Measuring Cup

Ingredients

  • ice
  • 5 ounce eggnog
  • 1 ½ ounce Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 ounce vodka
  • pinch ground cinnamon optional
  • pinch ground nutmeg optional

Instructions

  • Add ice to a cocktail shaker, pour in eggnog, Baileys and vodka. If using, add ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
  • Shake until cold and strain into an 8-ounce glass.

Notes

  • Double It: If your cocktail shaker is big enough, double the ingredients for more than one serving.
  • Shaken/Stirred: Shaking gives you the perfect chill without thinning the flavors.
  • Glass: A chilled coupe or rocks glass keeps the drink colder for longer and looks extra festive.
  • Garnish: A pinch of ground nutmeg or cinnamon and add in a cinnamon stick.
  • Make Ahead: Store Baileys and eggnog in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Chill Your Ingredients: Starting with cold Baileys and cold eggnog gives the drink a smoother, creamier texture right away.
