Ingredients
11ounceswhite chocolate melts
24Pretzel rods
Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring well between each until smooth.
Once melted, dip the pretzel rods into the chocolate, shaking off any excess, and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet (for easy cleanup).
While the chocolate is still warm, add any Halloween sprinkles, then allow them to set at room temperature for about an hour or in fridge.
Notes
Don't Overheat the Chocolate: Stir well between each microwave interval. Once only a few small pieces remain, keep stirring and let the residual heat finish melting them.
Decorate Right Away: Add your sprinkles while the chocolate coating is still soft so they stick.
Let the Excess Drip Off: Give each pretzel rod a gentle shake after dipping so you don't end up with a thick puddle of chocolate around the bottom.
Work in Batches: If you're decorating several different ways, dip and decorate a few pretzels at a time so the chocolate doesn't set before you add the sprinkles.
Make it Easier: Using a tall glass or cup to make dipping the rods easier.
Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 1 week.
Refrigerator: You can refrigerate them to help the chocolate set, but I prefer storing them at room temperature, so the pretzels stay crisp.
