Measuring Cups
- 2 8- ounce bricks cream cheese cubed, divided
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded, divided
- 8 slices bacon chopped and cooked (about 1 cup)
- ½ cup sour cream
- 6 jalapeños seeded and minced
Add half the cream cheese and cheddar cheese to the base of the slow cooker, then add bacon, sour cream and jalapeños.
Top with the remaining cheeses, cover and cook on low setting for 3 hours. Give it a stir halfway through if you can ensure everything blends smoothly.
Serve warm with your favorite chips or veggies.
- If you have time, let your cream cheese come to room temperature. Softened cream cheese will blend in faster but is not necessary.
- Leave in some jalapeño seeds for extra spice or remove them for a milder dip.
- Hosting a crowd? This recipe easily doubles in a large slow cooker.
- Sprinkle fresh green onions or cilantro on top of the dip for great flavor and color.
