Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces goat cheese softened (optional)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened (optional)
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil

OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:

  • honey
  • cranberry sauce
  • pistachios
  • sun-dried tomatoes
  • olives chopped

Instructions

  • Add goat cheese, cream cheese, honey and sea salt to a food processor and run while slowly pouring in olive oil.
  • Stop and scrape down the sides as needed until very smooth (note: if your cheeses are room temperature this should only take about 2-3 minutes).
  • Pour into a serving bowl and serve with any desired toppings (I like to do cranberry sauce, pistachios and an extra drizzle of honey).

Notes

  • Let Cheeses Soften: Room-temperature goat cheese and cream cheese whip much faster and smoother.
  • Blend Slowly: If serving right away it is very warm and silky, if you have chilled it, it stiffens up slightly so allow it to sit out for a bit or pop in the microwave for 5-10 seconds.
  • Adjust Sweetness: Add more honey or even hot honey depending on whether you want sweet or savory.
  • Serve Warm or Chilled: A quick 5-10 seconds in the microwave softens it for an ultra-silky dip.
  • Upgrade the Platter: Pair with crusty bread, pita chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.

  • Serving Suggestion is 2-3 tablespoons
