Pour peach schnapps in a shot glass about 2.5-ounce in size.
Using the back of a cocktail spoon (or small teaspoon) pour the Baileys Irish Cream slowly. Allow the spoon to touch the top of the layer and slowly move up as it rises.
Pour from a high point the blue curacao to pull down the Baileys layer. Then do the same for the grenadine to create the alien brainy effect.
- Use a shot glass close to 2.5-ounces for serving. This allows shot to show off the layers without being it being too big.
- Pouring your layer on the back of a spoon is essential for the baileys layer to float properly, so pour slowly.
- Cream liqueurs can curdle quickly if they're old, so use a fresh bottle of Bailey’s Irish Cream.
- For the best visual and taste, make and serve these shots right away.
- Layering shots takes a gentle hand since they are so little! Practice with water and food coloring if desired.
