Equipment

  • Shallow Plates
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons

Ingredients

OPTIONAL RIM:

  • 2 tablespoon caramel sauce
  • 3 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

MIMOSA:

  • 1 750 mL bottle dry prosecco chilled
  • 2 cups sweetened apple cider divided

Instructions

  • For the cinnamon sugar rim, prep two small shallow plates; one with caramel sauce and the other with sugar and cinnamon.
  • Dip the rim of the champagne flute into the caramel sauce first and keeping it upside down, allow any excess to drip off. Then dip it in the cinnamon sugar mixture; work it around to cover all the caramel (pro tip: chill it in the fridge for 10 minutes to really set).
  • To make the mimosa, add ½ cup of apple cider into each glass, then top with prosecco. Give it a little stir and garnish with thinly sliced apple in or on the rim.

Notes

  • To get the perfect temperature of the champagne, place the unopened bottle in a bucket of ice for about 20 minutes before serving.
  • Hold your glass on an angle when pouring your sparkling to reduce the loss of carbonation.
