1 Measuring Cups
1 Shot Glass
1 Cocktail Shaker
- ¼ cup lemonade
- 1 ½ ounce Hennessy
- ½ ounce triple sec
- ½ ounce lime juice freshly squeezed
- ice for shaker
- club soda chilled
In a cocktail shaker add some ice cubes, lemonade, Hennessy, triple sec and lime juice. Shake vigorously until chilled.
Strain into a glass filled with at least a cup of ice and top with club soda for a fizzy finish of bubbles (about ½ can).
- Shaken: For one or two servings, shake with ice until well chilled for the best texture.
- Glass: Any kind of glass will do for this cocktail.
- Garnishes: Strawberries and lime rounds are our favorite way for this cocktail, but you can also use lemons or mint leaves.
- Batch: Making a pitcher for a crowd? Multiply the ingredients and chill in the fridge instead of shaking, then top each glass with club soda right before serving.
- Storage: Keep any leftovers in a covered pitcher in the fridge for up to 3 days. Add the club soda fresh to each glass right before serving so it doesn't go flat.
- Chill Everything First: Cold ingredients keep the drink crisp and refreshing without needing extra ice.
- Balance to Taste: Start with less sweetener and adjust after mixing since strawberries can vary in sweetness.
- Use Fresh Lime: Fresh lime juice keeps the cocktail bright and prevents it from tasting flat.
