If rimming your glass, rub the edge with a lime wedge, then dip in salt.
Add ice to a cocktail shaker and pour in tequila, pineapple juice, triple sec and margarita mix.
Shake well until chilled then strain into a glass with ice.
- Use chilled ingredients for a crisper drink.
- Shake long enough that the mix is cold and well blended. The cocktail shaker should feel cold after about 20 seconds, and you know it is ready!
- Rimming your glass adds flavor as well as visual appeal.
- Whenever possible always use freshly squeezed lime juice for best freshness.
- Using ice in your glass helps to keep it cold without watering down.
