Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1-13.5 ounce can coconut milk full fat (400 mL)
  • ½ cup water
  • 2-4 tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ tablespoon pure vanilla extract optional
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt optional

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender, and blend until fully incorporated and smooth.
  • Pour into milkshake glasses and serve.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries.

Notes

  • Using full-fat coconut milk allows you the best creamy texture.
  • Tasting before you serve allows you to make any adjustments to the maple syrup if your berries are tart.
  • Blend until you have a smooth texture—no strawberry chunks left behind.
  • If adding a garnish add it just as you serve, so the strawberries look fresh and vibrant.
  • If preferred, chill your glasses for about 30 minutes prior to serving for a frostier milkshake experience.
