Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker and Strainer
  • Shot Glass
  • Measuring Spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounce black raspberry liqueur Chambord
  • 1 ½ ounce southern comfort
  • 2 tablespoons sour mix

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice, then add ingredients.
  • Shake until chilled and strain into 2 shot glasses.

Notes

  • To make your own sour mix: add ⅓ cup simple syrup (see below), ½ cup lemon juice and ¼ cup lime juice in a jar, and shake well.
  • To make your own simple syrup: add equal parts water to granulated sugar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir for 10-15 minutes over a low boil until thickened.
  • You can strain into one martini glass and have it as a cocktail instead of a shot.
  • Garnishes are optional, but you can sugar the rim with sanding sugar or crushed-up Sweet Tart candies.
