Instructions
Working in 2 batches, to a blender add watermelon, ½ cup water, lime juice and honey, and blend on high until smooth and well mixed.
Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher or another contain if you want to strain it twice.
Repeat with the second half of the ingredients.
Once it is all in your pitcher, add 1 additional cup water and stir.
Notes
Glass:
Serve in tall glasses filled with ice to keep the drink cold and refreshing.
Garnishes:
Lime wedges, lime slices or fresh mint sprigs add a simple, fresh finish.
Straining:
I like to double strain mine for a smoother finish—it only takes an extra minute, but you can really tell the difference.
Taste Balance:
Adjust the lime juice or honey depending on how sweet your watermelon is.
Make it Bubbly:
Make it extra fresh and top it off with some sparkling water.
Blend Well:
Ensure you blend long enough to break it all down, then strain out any or as much pulp as you want.
