Ingredients
With just a quick trip to the grocery store, you will be mixing this one up in no time.

See the recipe card below for the exact quantities of each ingredient.
- Frozen Berries: Keeps the sangria chilled and adds extra fruit flavor without diluting the drink.
- Semi-Sweet Red Wine (like pinot noir or blend): A bottle of red wine with fruity flavors makes the base of this drink. If you prefer a less sweet cocktail, you can get a dry wine instead.
- Apple Cider: Adds cozy fall sweetness with hints of spice; we like to use our homemade crockpot apple cider but store-bought is great.
- Cranberry Cocktail: Provides sweetness, tang and boosts the deep red hue of this Halloween sangria.
- Dark Spiced Rum: Brings a spicy warmth and depth.
- Club Soda (Optional): Lightens the drink and adds a bit of fizz just before serving.
For this easy sangria, you'll want to have on hand a large pitcher and measuring cups.
Substitutions and Variations
This Halloween sangria is super versatile and easy to tweak for your next Halloween party.
- White Wine Version: Use pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc with pale fruit juices for a lighter twist on spooky sangria.

- Extra Booze: Add orange liqueur like triple sec brandy for more punch in your pitcher.
- Sweeten it Up: Add simple syrup, brown sugar or extra cranberry cocktail.
- Creepy Garnishes: Toss in gummy worms, plastic spiders, edible eyeballs or pomegranate seeds to take this from festive to frightful.

Such a balance of flavors in this one. You will love it.
Carly Newton says
How long can this be stored in the refrigerator for?
Eva Filer says
We would recommend 24 hours for the most freshness of both the beverage and the fruit, it will start to get mushy. If you leave it, I wouldn’t go longer than 3 days, and you might want to strain out the fruit at that point. Obviously, we recommend using the most fresh produce you can at the start for optimal flavor and freshness. Enjoy. Let us know how you like it!
