How to Store Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip

We recommend against freezing this dip as it is heavier on dairy, but it can be kept in the fridge in the event that you (somehow!) have leftovers. We have enjoyed repurposing our leftovers into sandwiches and have added the chicken mixture to tortillas to make a Buffalo chicken wrap. You could even try spreading it on a BLT for a tasty twist — trust us, it's delicious!

  • Refrigerator: Once cooled, place in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
  • Reheating: Bring to room temperature and warm up in the microwave, or transfer to an oven-safe casserole dish and bake.
  • Freezing: Once the dip is cooled, place in a small airtight container to allow for the least amount of air inside to prevent freezer burn. Thaw in the fridge before reheating.
  • Make Ahead: All ingredients for this dip can be prepped ahead of time, and stored in an airtight container and refrigerated. When it comes time to make the dip, transfer the mixture to your slow cooker, and cook as instructed.
